Sussex Improvment Partnership

This
conference aimed to challenge how we can provide high quality, value for
money services that meet demand and keep costs down through joint working
and community leadership. It will also offered an opportunity to network
with Members from all authorities across Sussex.
This conference was been sponsored by The Sussex Improvement Partnership and was free to all delegates. The event was chaired by Councillor Carl Maynard, Chairman of Sussex Improvement Partnership; and also had Stephen Taylor (Chief Executive, Leadership Centre) and Martin Richards (Chief Constable, Sussex Police) as guest speakers.
There were two workshops included in the programme, facilitated by Members, giving you the opportunity to discuss both issues and share experiences during the morning:

Community Leadership
- Can you lead your community?
- Do you need to change the way you work?
- Does your authority support you to become a community leader?
