Skills for Delivering Sustainable Communities : 5th December 2006

The 5 Town Network has been asked to become a “Learning Laboratory”. This initiative from the Academy for Sustainable Communities (ASC), means that a training fund of up to £50,000 is made available for projects to become test centres for capacity-building and training officers, Members and other key partners in the wide variety of skills required to deliver the Government’s Sustainable Communities agenda. This workshop event was held in order to carry out a skills and training audit with 5 Town Network members. BURA facilitated the workshop and their final report will form the basis of the application to the ASC for the training fund for 2007/08.
